I think we all can agree... grocery shopping can be a giant pain in the butt! The average weekly grocery bill for a family of four is between $146 and $248. Take the average of that and it becomes $10,244 a year!
As a broke college student who refused to live off of ramen noodles for four years, I started doing research on how to save money on groceries. I tried out the crazy world of couponing, but snip snip snip, who has the time?! So when I found out that there were apps that can save and earn cash back on groceries it was, like, a massive relief! I dug my phone out from the disheveled pile of coupons on my desk and got started! Here's what I found that works:

Bonus Tips
- You can combine all of the grocery rebate apps to double up on offers! Make sure to check them all before going grocery shopping to make sure you're not missing out.
- You can still get cash back from the rebate apps even if you use a coupon! Use the Grocery Pal app to quickly see if there are any printable coupons for items on your list. Or just do a quick google search by typing [item name] coupon. You could even end up making money on some of the items this way!
- Check out some of the other apps and websites on this blog. A lot of them offer gift cards as a redemption option. A few for example: InstaGC, GiftHulk, and Checkpoints. If you just actively take a little time each day on some of these sites, and run a couple of the passive sites and apps in the background throughout the day, you will end up rolling in gift cards! Use the gift cards you get from these places when you go grocery shopping, and combine them with the grocery rebate apps to turn your gift cards into even more gift cards! Just by doing this, I have gone from struggling each week to pay for groceries, to a point where I don't even pay for groceries anymore!
