available for iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play.
How to Use Checkout 51
Every Thursday at 12:00 AM, the app updates with new offers that expire the following Wednesday at 11:50 PM. In order to receive the cash back for the offer, you must purchase the product and submit your receipt within that time frame.
The screenshot above shows an example of the interface and offers. To select an offer just tap the gray star next to the offer. Some of the offers specify a store, and some it doesn't matter where you make the purchase.
Also, a few of the offers state that you cannot combine the offer with another offer or coupon. Unfortunately, the Venus razors and refills above can't be combined with a coupon or they would have really been a great deal!
Checkout 51 Payout
Unfortunately, redemption options in Checkout 51 are limited. The only option to redeem your cash back is to request a check. The minimum payout to request a check is $20.00.
Is Checkout 51 Worth Using?
Yes, but in combination with other grocery rebate apps. Checkout 51 is just... okay. I'm not extremely thrilled about it, but I'm not terribly disappointed either. One of its redeeming qualities is that you can sometimes use an offer more than once at a time if you buy multiples of an item. Some of the items even have bonuses if you buy more than one! I had one the other day where I bought 2 candles and got the $0.50 cash back on them both, plus a $2.00 bonus for buying two. I just wish there were more offers I'd actually use in the app so it would be a little faster getting to that $20.00 minimum payout. But overall, Checkout 51 is a decent app. I would recommend trying it out for yourself and checking each week to see what the new offers are!
