I kept hearing about TopCashback but ignored it for a while because I was all about getting cash back on groceries at the time. Buuuuut, after taking a look at all the online purchases I had made throughout the year, I realized I should have started using TopCashback much sooner. I finally gave it a go, so here's a little information about TopCashback, how to use it, and how it worked for me.
How Does TopCashback Work?
So, how is TopCashback able to offer cash back on your online purchases? Many retailers will pay commission when you refer someone to their website who makes a purchase. TopCashback pays you 100% of the commission they receive from your purchase as cash back!
Well, how are they able to operate if they are giving 100% of their commission away? TopCashback makes money from sponsored advertisements and promotions on their website. Retailers will also sometimes give them extra bonuses if they refer a lot of people to their website.
How to Use TopCashback
Whenever you are interested in making an online purchase, just go to TopCashback.com and search for the retailer. Maybe you just have an item in mind and aren't quite sure which website to order it from. You can browse the top cash back offers to see where you can get the best deal!
Click the red Cashback button to view more information about the offer. Many of the retailers also have a few coupon codes listed so you can save money!
When you are ready to shop, just click the Get Cashback Now button to be directed to the retailer's website. You have to go to the website through TopCashback.com in order to receive your cash back, otherwise they don't have a way to verify your purchase!
With some online purchases, it may take a few days to show up on TopCashback. If it has been more than 7 days, they have a claim system you can use to report missing cash back.
How You Receive Your Cash Back
TopCashback.com lists 4 payout options:
- ACH - Direct deposit
- Paypal
- American Express rewards card
- Amazon gift card
You won't get the cash back immediately. Most of mine have taken a month or two, but it is always nice to receive that extra bonus. There is also no minimum payout, which is wonderful!
Generally speaking, the retailers get invoiced for the cashback after the end of the calendar month in which the transaction occurred. This means that if your transaction was at the start of a month, then you will probably be waiting a slightly longer amount of time for your cashback than someone who purchased at the end of a month.
After the invoice has been sent, it can take one or two months for the cashback to be paid to the affiliate network and for it to then be sent on to us.
Is TopCashback Worth Using?
Yes! Especially if you do a lot of online shopping! The cash back over time really adds up. The website is completely free to use, so you can only benefit by signing up.
They also have a really sweet referral program which gives you $10 or more when you refer someone who makes a purchase. Get your friends to sign up, it will benefit both of you! Hunt down an online shop-a-holic and let them know they are missing out! I'm a bit of an Amazon addict, so this program has been pretty awesome so far for me. Sometimes I forget to use it though, and have found it helpful to place the website in the bookmarks bar where I can see it.
Overall, TopCashback.com is a great website to earn cash back on your purchases! They have pretty high percentages of cash back compared to other sites.
