How many times a day do you check your phone? The average user checks their phone over 150 times a day! With Adme, you can get paid for all the times you wake up your phone by displaying ads on your lockscreen.
Adme is a lock screen app that rewards you for using your phone. Whenever you wake up your phone, Adme will display an ad on your lock screen. You don't have to click the ad, just swipe right to unlock as usual.
I stumbled across Adme while looking for passive ways to make money with smartphones. It seemed pretty effortless so I figured I'd try it out. Continue reading for my review of the Adme app, and a short guide for using Adme.
How Does Adme Work?
Once you sign up and install the Adme Lockscreen, you'll start seeing ads on your lockscreen when you wake up your phone. As you check your phone throughout the day you will accumulate money that can later be deposited to your Paypal account. But, don't just lock and unlock your phone over and over expecting the amount to keep increasing. They have specialized algorithms in place to prevent abuse. All you have to do is use your phone like normal and your balance will increase based on overall usage over time.
There are 3 modes for Adme:
1. Single Screen: Content Feed
This mode will display a content feed when you wake up your phone. It is mostly news, blogs, and images (no adult content). To unlock just swipe right.
The screenshot above is an example of what the feed looks like.
2. Single Screen: Fullscreen Ad Only
The Fullscreen Ad Only mode displays a fullscreen ad when your phone is woken up. There is an X in the corner that you just tap to exit the ad.
3. Double Screen: Feed & Ad
The Feed & Ad mode displays both the content feed and the ad. When you wake up your phone you will have to tap the x on the ad and swipe to unlock. This mode earns twice as much as the other modes.
You can check your balance by opening the Adme app and it will be on the home page. The balance updates every 24 hours.
Adme Payouts
The only option for redeeming your earnings is through Paypal. The minimum amount needed to redeem is $10. When you reach $10, go to your account page in the app and enter in your Paypal e-mail.
Payment will not be immediate, instead there are 2 payment dates (the 1st and 15th of each month). You'll receive the payment on the next scheduled payment day after you choose to redeem.
How to Sign Up for Adme
Adme is currently only available on Android through Google Play. Once you download and run, you can sign up within the app. It looks like an iOS version is in development! There is a wait list to be notified upon release on their website.
Use the code trhCF7sxLM to receive a $3.00 bonus when signing up!
Is Adme Worth It?
Adme is a pretty nice app. I get about $0.12 a day from using it. Since it is only on Android I just use it on one of my extra farming phones. Unfortunately you can't use it on more than one phone, even with different accounts. (I tried, and was very quickly blocked from the app.) I use the Feed & Ad mode and it is a little annoying at first to x out the ad and swipe, but I'm used to it now. I also combine Adme with the
Slidejoy lockscreen to earn extra cash so theres a lot of swiping going on whenever I wake up this phone lol. By using both Adme and Slidejoy, you can get around $0.25 a day for hardly any effort. That's almost
$100 extra a year just for waking up your phone! Stick it in savings or pay off a month of your phone bill! I think it is definitely worth using just because you get a little extra change in your pocket just for using your phone like you normally would!
UPDATE - 12/21/2015: Adme has released two new apps that combine earnings with the Adme Lockscreen. Click here to check them out!
