1Q App Review - Answer 1 Question, Get Instant Paypal Deposit!

1Q Review - Make money with your phone
On my quest to make my pocket jingle, I ran across an app called 1Q that claimed to pay you for answering one simple question. I figured, "Hmm... Yea, I can answer a question, let's do it!" I signed up, downloaded the app, and gave it a try. This blog post includes a review about the 1Q app, my experience with using 1Q, and a little guide to earning with 1Q.

1Q is one of the easiest ways to earn some extra cash using your phone. 1Q is an app that allows you to earn money with your phone by sending targeted market research questions and paying you for each question you answer.

How Does 1Q Work?

The name 1Q stands for one question, and you can receive an instant Paypal deposit of $0.25-$0.50 per question! The questions come from companies who want to target specific demographics and receive real-time results. These companies pay 1Q to send the questions out to the targeted audience then 1Q pays you to answer them. The questions are sent to your phone via text message or through the app (push notification).

Once you sign up for 1Q, you have an option to choose a $0.25 or $0.50 payment per question. If you choose the $0.25 you will supposedly receive more questions. After that, there isn't much else to do but wait to receive a question.

How to Use 1Q

How does 1Q work
Questions will be sent to you through a text message or directly through the app. On the left is an example of one of the questions I received by text.

The question process was very simple and I was paid immediately after answering. Not bad. You do have to be quick with answering because if you wait too long to answer the quota will be filled and it will tell you the question is expired.

If you have the 1Q app installed you will receive a push notification whenever a new question is available. A minor annoyance about the app is that it wants your location even when you are not using the app. You can still use 1Q even without having the app installed if you don't want to deal with location tracking, and the questions will be texted to you instead. But, you will not receive as many questions because sometimes going to a certain place can trigger a question.

Either way you choose to use 1Q, it is still very simple to answer the questions and get paid. The pay is actually really good. I have done many 5-15 minute surveys that paid what 1Q does for just a few seconds. Just don't expect an endless supply of questions. You'll probably get around 1-2 questions a week. Sometimes you'll be sent a series of questions and you'll still be paid for each one. Those are awesome! I got one the other day that ended up getting paid $1.75 for like 30 seconds of question answering!

Is 1Q Worth Using?

1Q is a pretty decent app, and they do pay what is promised. I just didn't really like the constant location tracking, so I uninstalled the app and opted to just receive the questions by text message instead. I still get a decent amount of questions, maybe 1-2 a week, though I have heard of others receiving more than that. It will vary depending on your location and demographics. I do like that they pay instantly to Paypal and the whole process is very simple with no hassle, so overall my feelings toward 1Q are definitely on the positive side. Is 1Q worth using? I do recommend signing up for 1Q, especially if you have unlimited texting, or don't mind the location tracking aspect of the app. It is an extra few cents in your Paypal every week for just a couple seconds of work. You'll also get a few demographic questions as soon as you sign up so that's some extra money in your pocket right now!
